Directx 11 support9/17/2023 I have complete faith in the support team here as far as being able to resolve the problem however and I am definitely looking forward to experiencing this for the first time. It should be noted that I have thus far not been able to launch P3D at all since buying it. Just to save everyone some time, yes, my card supports DX11. Nothing I seem to try is working.Īnd to satisfy the question asked in the last post in this thread: My DXDIAG reports my "Name" under "Display 1" as "AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series" I've tried deleting the p3d.cfg file afterwards, still not working. I also tried using DDU to remove everything, reinstalling drivers from scratch, nothing. I had the latest AMD drivers for my Radeon HD7950 installed.that obviously didn't work so I tried the 17.2.1 drivers, and UNLIKE the other two people that had success with that, I did not. Please make sure this system has a video card that supports DirectX 11 and that the drivers are up to date." When I try to launch the program, I too get "Prepar3D was unable to initialize the rendering system and will shut down. When testing for HDR detection in your Microsoft Windows 10 DirectX 11 or DirectX 12 application, make sure that HDR and WCG display settings are turned on (see below). I got v4 because it's 64 bit and like most other people I was tired of OOM's. I just bought P3D v4, I'm finally making the move from FSX which I've had since it came out.
